Zubin Foundation Event Management Platform: Morgan Stanley Code to Give Hackathon
Project type
Progressive Web Application
Location
Hong Kong
Date
August 2024
Role
UIUX Designer and Frontend Developer
As part of Morgan Stanley's Code to Give 2024, we developed a full-featured, end-to-end event management platform for The Zubin Foundation, an NGO focused on empowering ethnic minorities. The platform was designed to streamline event coordination by enabling admins to create and manage events, volunteers to sign up and participate, and participants to register and engage.
Built as a mobile-first Progressive Web App, the solution ensures reliable access even in low-connectivity areas. To support volunteer training, we incorporated gamified quizzes, enhancing engagement and learning through interactive experiences. An AI-powered chatbot was also integrated to guide users and simplify interactions across roles.
Key Features:
1. Role-based access for Admins, Volunteers, and Participants
2. Event creation, sign-up, and management
3. Gamified training with quizzes for volunteers
4. AI chatbot for support and onboarding
5. Mobile-first, responsive Progressive Web App
Tech Stack: ReactJS, Material UI, MongoDB
